

Call for papers
The 5th International Conference on the Economics of Informality invites scholars, researchers, and policymakers to submit original research that advances the understanding of informal economies and their role in economic development.
The conference aims to promote a rigorous and interdisciplinary dialogue between the academic community and policy practitioners. By bringing together leading scholars and emerging researchers, the event seeks to strengthen international research networks and expand the frontier of knowledge on the causes, dynamics, and consequences of informality across different economic contexts.
We welcome theoretical and empirical contributions that examine informality from a wide range of perspectives. Submissions may address, but are not limited to, the following thematic areas:
